Last Saturday, a group of riders joined hands (gloves🧤) and went on one thrilling biking spree with a bucket list, or shall I say ‘bike it’ list that had multiple pitstops covering both culinary havens as well as picturesque dreamy locations. All thanks to Bangalore foodies club and ninestar Suzuki for coming together and putting forward this idea of a BikerFoodTrail and executing it so well, rendering the riders one lifelong memory to cherish.
The journey began from Ninestar Suzuki showroom at hosur road where we rode off on our Gixxer SF 250 bikes featuring a dynamic 250cc engine. The bike easily clocked a speed of 120kmph on a highway with relatively moderate traffic and had superb handling, thanks to excellent anti skid braking and robust suspension.
We reached our 1st pit stop – Murugan idly in Krishnagiri where we relished some lipsmacking Podi idlis and vadas. For me trying Podi idli was a first.
Then we went to touring on less travelled deserted yet lush green roads with a scenic mountain outline.
Experienced light drizzles and few confused roads that didn’t deter us from reaching our 2nd pit stop – Panchapalli Dam. Such a picturesque location with a mountain backdrop to one beautiful River and the civil-mechanical Giant. All worth it. Had a gala time clicking pictures and soaking in the chill vibes.
Finally we started for our final pit stop, enduring more rains on the way. Junion kupanna at hosur road was our final host, where I tried ambur dum biryani along with nati chicken and came out highly impressed. Again this was a first for me, haven’t had such goodness from the south Indian cuisine for a while.
The journey and destinations, were all worth cherishing and I surely had one experience of a lifetime. Looking forward to such more. Thanks once again BFC and nine star Suzuki for putting together such a fabulous idea.
